Eve Robot from Wall-E
[digg-me] Preview:
Eve Robot.

Step 1:
Let’s start out by creating a new file. I used a 300×300 pixels canvas set at 72dpi, and I filled my background with a light gray gradient. Now with your Ellipse Tool draw a gray ellipse with #BEBCBD color shade and 56 x 113 px dimensions.

Step 2:
Under Layer Style(Layer > Layer Style) add an Inner Shadow, Satin, Gradient Overlay and Stroke blending options to your gray ellipse layer.

Result:

Step 3:
In a new layer make another ellipse with #EDEDED color shade and 14 x 82 px dimensions.

Under Layer Style(Layer > Layer Style) add an Inner Shadow, Satin, Gradient Overlay and Stroke blending options to your gray ellipse layer.

Result:

Step 4:
On the layers palette place your second ellipse layer behind the first one. Now move the second ellipse on the right side as shown below. Then duplicate the ellipse design and position it on the opposite end.

Step 5:
Now create the head, in a new layer draw an ellipse with #BEBCBD color shade and 53 x 43 px dimensions.

Step 6:
Under Layer Style(Layer > Layer Style) add an Inner Shadow, Gradient Overlay and Stroke blending options to your head design layer.

Result:

Step 7:
In a new layer draw a black ellipse on the center of the head.

Step 8:
Under Layer Style(Layer > Layer Style) add a Gradient Overlay and Stroke blending options to your black ellipse layer.

Result:

Step 9:
Now add glowing eyes, in a new layer draw small ellipse with #0067BD color shade.

Step 10:
Under Layer Style(Layer > Layer Style) add a Gradient Overlay blending option to your first eye design layer.

Result:

Step 11:
Add the other eye by duplicating the first one.

Step 12:
For the shadow we use the brush tool with a 32px soft brush. In a new layer brush a black spot below your robot mascot. Then go to Edit > Transform > Perspective, when the transform points appear on your black spot drag the bottom left points so the black spot expands. Finish it off by setting the black spot layer’s opacity level to 20%.

Results:
Robot Mascot.

When I saw this movie I thought, Eve looks simple enough, I could do that with 3dsMax, but here it is in photoshop. Great job!
